Thanks!...I usually use belly covers, I don't care to show my belly, but love to show my back, have a great tat and my skin is still taught. You'll see that I usually use gauntlets, longer sleeved cholis, and belly covers. For one reason, I've had a baby, the second is I've lost 150+ lbs and I have a lot of excess skin that prevents me from really getting into my shimmies...too much reverberation. I love your idea. I will put making a corset on my to do list after I finish learning how to sew which is high up on my to do list. Anyway, the costume is lovely.
Hey Kauwika!...I'm not too familiar with Oz, but, one of my best friends is moving to Brisbane in a few months to marry her sweetheart. She's a wonderful bellydancer!! Her name is Rebekah and she is one of my very few friends I've made here so far. She's the one with the fantastic blue fairy face painting. I am curious...your first tribal outfit is beautiful...where did you get the black belly belt? I'm looking for something similar...maybe corset type to push up what little I have and make the most of my choli.
