Curious minds want to know...

When did you know you were ready to perform? And what if you have severe stage fright? I've performed only once, and I kid you not but I thought I was gonna hurl. Ew. I've got pretty bad stage fright so I'm wondering if you have any pointers, tips, helpful advice, whatever.

I'm kind of feeling the urge to perform again, but, frankly, my fear is preventing me. Ugh. I certainly don't want to let my fear of being onstage prevent me from having fun, ya know!

Thanks!

Hi Lisette! Did you by any chance attend the Ya Halla event last month in Grapevine?

You have THE most amazing hair! I'm envious. ;)

Once mine goes completely silver I plan on having a lot of fun tinting it various colours as the mood strikes me.

I still get stage fright every time I go on, though not as bad as before my first performance. It does get easier with time, and sometimes its a matter of just pushing yourself that little bit and performing even though you are scared silly inside. Now I still get really nervous before I go on, but once I'm out there for about 30-40 seconds I relax and can really enjoy the performance. I just concentrate on being as relaxed as possible until I get over that wall and can then have smooth sailing afterwards (or smooth shimmies, as it were).
