Hey, there Etta! Brisbane's a long way from Adelaide, but you never know what might happen to bring people together.
The "belly belt" isn't a belt. You're just seeing the leotard I'm wearing under the wrap top (old habits from ballet background die hard *g*). But an under-bust corset belt would be *wild*! If you can't find one, how 'bout making one? Sounds to me like something to go on the project list...
Thanks for the comment - I did make it myself - all hand beaded and sequined! But it is what I do - I have been sewing for others and myself for over 25 years now - and yes I started when i was young!
I dance cabaret style mainly and perform professionally here in Ottawa, Canada. A few of my students also study with our local tribal fusion teacher and so I do see the draw of it for sure! I like to mix things up though and have always tossed in some alternative music when I can!
