Are you a refugee from tribe.net?: Yes!

Who are ya?: I am an artist who seems to never have time to do any of the "artsy" things that I enjoy. Painting and photography are my favorite outlets, besides bellydance of course! Bellydance is my one surviving outlet for my creativity that I get to do one a regular basis. Too little time and too many hobbies I guess. I love meeting fun and interesting people with similar interests as me. So feel free to drop me a line.

Sorry I just have to vent a tad. I really hate snow and it has now been snowing off and on for roughly twenty-four hours. You would think that I would get used to it after living in Ohio my whole life but I'm not. And I had a workshop I was looking forward to going to today. Of course it was cancelled because of the snow. I'm just bummed out that winter is finally here.

Ok so I finally added some new photos to the page. They are ok shots I suppose. Being a photographer I get picky about "good" and "bad" pictures. Most of my pictures I don't like because of my pickyness but I still have to share. Hope you all enjoy.

New Name

Just thought I would let you all know that I have found myself a dancing name and am going to attempt to start using. So my name is now Samira and it means entertaining. Hopefully it will take!

She sacrificed herself to free the peasants from their opressors, was imprisoned for herecy and escaped (twice!). She was beautiful, charismatic, nurturing and had the fire of an amazon within her. I think I love her!

I did find something else though, "Aradia", it means "goddess of witches". It's PERFECT! My troupe members agree. Thanks again for the great idea!
