The Shimmy Shack (all our own)

Gaia Tribal now has exclusive space. We have taken over half the space in the building we have been renting time at and will be sharing the lease with the owner of Dance Intensity. Life is funny. At the point you think you will move to another location you get offered the opportunity to own the one you are in :) We are still kicking around names for our little bit of belly dance heaven but The Shimmy Shack is on the table.

We are so excited to set up our new home and rehearsal space. It is my hope that this will be a haven for students, friends and troupe as well as a place to dance, socialize, and learn.

The new space was really welcoming and had great energy. Thank you all for coming out and dancing. Hope to get everyone on here soon so we can continue to share info.

It was a great event and we loved doing it. Pay is always good but first you have to build the event and we did that! Next year it will only be bigger :)

Comment by Amy T on February 10, 2009 at 9:46pm: Mirror Mirror On The Wall!!! Ladies we have wall to wall mirrors in our studio now! It was well worth the wait. The place is looking good :) Willow was awesome and all danced beautifully. Kari had a fantastic debut. Pictures coming soon.
