I really want to go to Tribal Fest in May, but from the way things look, I'll be going alone. Anyone know what's the crime rate there? Is it relatively "safe" or should I pack a big stick and/or invest in getting these: www.freewebs.com/finalfant...0Rude.jpg* I'd ask if any of my friends if they would like to go, but I know they wouldn't be interested.

Also, if there's a group that I can hang out with (Just general hanging out to/from the fest), that would be much appreciated. I'll help pay for gas. :D

sebastopol is a safe and adorable little town, just beware of the motel 6's in Santa Rosa though, they're pretty gnarly....

Not sure about groups and such, but Sebastopol is a pretty safe town. Fairly small northern california hippy-ish kind of place. Not sure if you're camping, staying in a hotel, etc. but overall I think you'll be fine...I mean, always know your surroundings and keep an eye out, but nothing over that standard awareness )
