Samira in Las Vegas!! I'm the organizer of the Las Vegas Bellydance Intensive (which is becoming a really fabulous event if I do say so myself)!! I get my kicks creating space and events for all the lovely juicy folks in the Las Vegas community. I've been a professional dancer, but now I'm mostly a mom with two very lovely children who drive me up the wall sometimes.

Hello, I am stephanie and I am also a tribe addict but lately the fix has not been working. I'm in central Iowa and the perpetual student (dancing almost three years). Tribe is being schizo right now - I can get into one or two of my tribes but not others. Grrr ... I am glad and thankful that Gibson Pearl created this too - I would really hate to lose all my tribe contacts and tribe reading ... and, wow! I can edit or delete my own comments - this rocks!

I am both a cabaret (Egyptian/Lebanese mix with bits of AmCab thrown in for good measure) and tribal fusion soloist, as well as a member of The Niraja Dance Company. I'm based in Baltimore, MD.

Hey all. This sucks..I have like over 500 photos I dont want to lose :0( I hope tribe doesn't go down. But just in case I am glad there is a back up. I find Facebook confusing and silly actually. My Space is hard to navigate around in with everyone freaking set to private....boring.

I am an "ITS" Improv Tribal Style dancer and new teacher in Wichita KS. We have the first and only "ITS" Troupe in Wichita, KS, Baracat Badriya. And I also belong to a tribal fusion duet previously called Sisters of Salome..now we are Tribal Reflections. However I will still go back to sequins and pearls when asked to for restaurant dancing :0) Ain't no shame in crossing over to the other side (cabaret) at times. Gotta remember where I came from.

Well, I started the process of duplicating my photos over here. I got all of three uploaded and Tribe went down...again. Lately there isn't even that annoying donut message. With any lock I'll be able to archive photos and particularly good Tribe posts here for reference.

I know I don't want to lose tribe. I have made lots of friends on there (then met them in the flesh - not a sad comptuer geek)! and I've met people at events and we've met up again on tribe. I hope it doesn't go, and I have lots of pictures too!
I sell bellydance artwork for charity and have made nearly £600 in 2 years. I perform with Khalgani but am 17 weeks pregnant so after the show in December may have to knock the fusion on the head, but will continue with ATS.
