Goodbye Tribe RIP

Well thats it Tribe is gone! I cant believe after all these years. I feel as though I have lost a Friend. Indeed I have lost many friends. There I was this morning trying to get onto Tribe after the down time this weekend to find the page no longer exists. I googled tribe and there on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tribe.net In black and white "As of September 5, 2008, www.tribe.net no longer exists."

Oh boy is this messed up!!!! It is 5:30 am and so I am wondering if it is my eyes, but not. It is Tribe. It is up and running but everything from JUNE 15th. LOL Pictures are not loading and all blogs are that old. Weird!

I've just logged into Tribe and everything has gone on my profie too!... ;o/ ....I've only got one pic and evidently I'm 'nobby no mates'!!!!..lol...gotta laugh!!!..That's it, I'm gonna try and reconnect with everyone on this site and forget about Tribe till they get their act together!!!.....

I'd like to figure out how to get the posts here in chronological order tho, instead of searching for the newest ones...? anyone know how?

Well I'm not going to bury tribe before its well and truly dead. I really REALLY dislike the interface here. I can't find the groups I usually frequent easily, there's no easy way to see an overview that lest me know where new posts are, and I hate having to create a new damned profile for every single thing I join. Its clunky and not at all efficient. I'll continue to stay with tribe as my main home on the net and hope things get sorted out sometime soon.

I know shadow created a bunch of replicas of his tribes here but in all honesty its too much trouble to track everything down each time I want to see if there is new activity. I guess I'll be a Tribe Luddite and keep holding on...whimpering, but holding on.

Yeah, I agree with you. I am very comfortable with the tribe format, but it has been acting quirkier than usual the last couple of months. I'm going to stick it out on tribe as my main page until it disappears. I like these new places okay, but they are not as comfortable and familiar.

I think everyone misses Tribe...but for me, I am just over it. I go on to My Space to keep up with my Peeps...and here...but like it has been said..I hate the format, but I guess it is better then nothing!
