Well thats it Tribe is gone! I cant believe after all these years. I feel as though I have lost a Friend. Indeed I have lost many friends. There I was this morning trying to get onto Tribe after the down time this weekend to find the page no longer exists. I googled tribe and there on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tribe.net In black and white "As of September 5, 2008, www.tribe.net no longer exists."

So why aren't there more folks here on Ning? It seems that tribe is down more than it's up. I want to tell everybody about the really great show we had last night with Shahrazad, Manhattan Tribal with Mimi Fontana, Kate Reid and Debbie Lakis, Vorona and Julissa. It is both a privilege and a pleasure to work with such incredible talent and professionals like that. These are the times that make all of this fun.

apologies if someone else has mentioned this issue, but I just finally joined Ning after waiting for about 10 days for Tribe to re-subscribe me. My profile, history, and presence have been completely obliterated from tribe through absolutely no action of my own. I can't log in ("unknown email address") and all my old posts are attributed to "Unsubscribed."

I'm honestly kinda surprised at how upsetting this is -- it's not the end of the world, of course, but Tribe has been an important part of my life and now I feel like a ghost. I can see other people, but they can't see or hear me.

katedarlig... the same thing happened to me a few months ago. I was just as upset. I was a paid subscriber, too. All they could "recover" was my testimonials. I had to make a whole new account and start over from the beginning.
